75 State Street has remained free of COVID-19 and is working closely with the Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services to ensure the health and wellbeing of our residents. All staff are being screened for temperature and symptoms prior to starting work and all residents are being screened daily.
While our dining rooms remain closed, we are delivering our restaurant-style meals directly to resident apartments. Group activities are being enjoyed with limited participation, social distancing, mask-use and diligent hand sanitizing protocols. Transportation to medically necessary appointments is available three days per week and our staff is assisting with telehealth appointments. Community areas and high touch locations are being sanitized regularly, we have limited occupancy in all common areas, and resident apartments have housekeeping and linen service on schedule.
While our community remains closed to visitors, outdoor visits are available by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays according to CDC recommended guidelines. To schedule a visit with a 75 State Street resident please call the concierge, M-F 8:30 am-4 pm at 207-775-7775. Visitors will be screened for symptoms, temperature, must sanitize their hands, and wear a mask at all times. Two visitors per resident, per visit are allowed. No food or drink is allowed. No small children or pets.
All visitors are required to have been in Maine for the past 14 days, OR to have come from Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey or Connecticut. Visitors who have been in any other state over the prior 14 days are not permitted to participate in outside visits. This requirement is in keeping with the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for senior communities; a ‘negative COVID-19 test’ does not apply in this setting.
